Who we are
Hey I'm David
Hey there my name is David and this is my boy Oliver. I rescued Oliver at the age of 21 after he was abused with a baseball bat. We have spent the last 8 years having an incredible life together. A year ago Oliver was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and after months of chemotherapy and around the clock care he passed away. Losing Oliver is the hardest struggle I have had and I am still learning how to live my life without him in it. But after painting a portrait of Oliver I realized something. That my art helped me in my grief and it can help others too! So my journey began.
After creating my first company Hendrick & Co. I knew there was something I could do. As a graphic designer, entrepreneur and philanthropist I saw there was nowhere for pet owners like me to get portraits of their beloved pets. So I got to work in creating a way for people like me to get one of a kind custom art of their pets easily, quickly and affordable. I spent years creating these portraits for family and friends finding the best solution to this problem. Which is why I started We Draw Your Pets! Now, with our state of the art website and team of digital artists, we can create incredible portraits of the pets you love. All you have to do is choose a product, choose a photo and we do the rest.
I know all too well the love between a person and their pet. I am grateful for the love my boy Oliver brought to my life and proud to have created a simple way to help that love last a lifetime. I take pride in the art we create and I cannot wait to create something special for you!
